We use your personal data only for the following purposes:
• To respond to coaching enquiries and communicate with you or your parent/guardian about our services
• To send you updates, news, and information about project AFLEET sessions — only where you have given us permission to do so
• To manage and administer coaching sessions and maintain session records
• To improve our website and understand how visitors engage with our content

We will never use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Under UK GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. We rely on the following:
• Consent — where you have signed up to receive communications from us or ticked a consent box on a form. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interests — where processing is necessary to respond to an enquiry you have initiated, or to run our coaching business effectively, provided this does not override your rights.
• Legal obligation — where we are required by law to retain certain records.

Our coaching services are aimed at young people aged 9–18. Where a child is under 13, we require that any data submitted (such as a coaching enquiry) is sent by a parent or guardian on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13 without parental consent.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, please contact us at itsprojectafleet@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

Project AFLEET recognises its duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children and young people who attend our sessions. Our safeguarding practice reflects statutory responsibilities, government guidance, and complies with established best practice in community sport.
The welfare and interests of every child are paramount — in every session, every decision, and every interaction. Regardless of age, ability or disability, gender, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation, or socio-economic background, every young person who trains with project AFLEET deserves a positive, enjoyable, and safe experience of sport and physical activity. No child will be subjected to abuse or discrimination of any kind while participating in our sessions.
Project AFLEET acknowledges that some children — including disabled children and young people, and those from ethnic minority communities — may be particularly vulnerable. We accept the responsibility to take all reasonable and appropriate steps to ensure their welfare is protected at all times.
As part of this commitment, project AFLEET will:
Promote and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people in our sessions at all times.
Ensure all roles and responsibilities relating to safeguarding are clearly understood, and that appropriate training is in place to recognise and respond to signs of abuse, neglect, or concern.
Take prompt and appropriate action in the event of any safeguarding incident or disclosure, and provide support to anyone who raises a concern.
Maintain confidential, accurate, and securely stored records of any safeguarding concerns.
Ensure no unsuitable individual is permitted to work with the young people in our care.
Operate robust safeguarding arrangements and procedures at all times.
This policy applies to everyone involved in delivering or supporting project AFLEET sessions. Failure to comply will be addressed immediately.
For any safeguarding concerns, contact us directly at itsprojectafleet@gmail.com.
